Marilyn and I have lived for the past 14 years with a pair of Bengal cats. They, Seraph (female) and Raphael (her brother) are amazing critters. They are bright, inquisitive, and very into humans. When the door-bell rings they run to the door rather than retreat to the bedroom as many cats would. Very active, they have no arthritis or signs of age at 14 as Bengals often live into their mid-20’s. They can still leap and cavort like they did 10 years ago.

I have learned patience by living with them. They are the Jack-Russell Terriers of cats, busy and hard-headed: a lot of cat to live with. Being greeted by a happy cat whenever I manage to get home is a gift indeed.
