Integrity and Sin

The immune system is a fascinating thing. I grew up thinking of the immune system in terms of fighting off bugs and germs. That is certainly true but misses the essence of the thing. The essential function of the immune system is the capacity of knowing what is you and what is not you.

This has endless implications for human relationships.  Knowing what is you and what is not you would be obvious right? Well not so fast.  Boundary issues, knowing where you end and others begin is the source of endless mischief inviting over/under functioning and defeating intimacy right and left.

What begins on the cellular level is played out in homes and nations.

D H Laurence is right sin is not about rules so much as integrity.
